Package love!
Happy Friday ladies!! I love a bit of mail and recently I received 2 lovely packages and it's about time I shared the package love!! First up is some lovely beauty items from Christine from starry eyed beauty*!

The Ciate Very Colorfoil Manicure Carnival Couture kit!! I've wanted to try foils for AGES and this gorgeous Ciate kit is just perfect! Thank you for fulfilling this lemming Christine =DD

Maybelline Baby lips Electro lip balms in Pink Shock and Strike a Rose. The Baby Lips range is pretty awesome and these aren't available in Aus yet!

Some Covergirl goodies!! The Clump Crusher mascara, Lip Perfection Jumbo Gloss balm in Ballet Twist and Smoochies lip balm in Sweet Tweet.

Very cute Bath and Body Works products!! I love hand sanitiser (haha!) and these tiny scented ones are so cute and smell amazing! The Sweet Clementine hand cream smells amazing too.

The second package is a swap with lovely Marte from Girly Addictions!! I swapped with her last year and she asked if I'd like to swap again and of course I said yes! I loved our last swap so I was super excited.

Marte sent me the beautiful new Catrice Thrilling me softly polish collection!! How pretty are they? Perfect shades for Autumn/Winter.

4 amazing p2 Sand Style polishes. When textured polishes first came out I was NOT a fan at all of the finish but I'm loving them now!! Especially ones with glitter through them like the gorgeous pink.

p2 Lost in Space Glitter polishes and a purple Hema Holographic!! There is nothing I love more than glitters and holos xp

Calvin Klein Splendid Color polishes! I've never tried CK polishes actually so thank you Marte for expanding my brand selection in my stash!

I love trying new top coats so I'm excited to try this Herome top coat. How funky is the bottle! Also the p2 Color-Stop fluid which reminds me of Liquid Palisade. I think it would make sponged ombre manis and stamping with black much easier!

How stunning does this Catrice Liquid eyeshadow in Mauves Like Jagger look?!! I don't have any gunmetal shades like this is too pretty to use I think haha.

Some face and body products!!

DUTCH SWEETS!! I love love LOVE stroopwafels and lovely Marte very kindly sent me 2 packets!! ♥♥♥ Also some yummy Bolletje chocolates and a milk chocolate M =)

Thank you so much Christine and Marte for spoiling me with these amazing gifts!!!!

Turquoise splatter inspired manicure
Sooooooooo this manicure is inspired by my favourite Samantha Wills Bohemian Bardot ring in turquoise gunmetal. Unfortunately it was a fail so it's a VERY loosely inspired manicure! I probably should have used a lighter shade to stamp with and also because it's not really a splatter design AT ALL but once I'd started I couldn't be bothered to take it all off and do it again LOL. Oh well!

I used 2 coats of Hema Long Lasting in 81 and stamped the splatter design from Konad plate m70 using Konad Special polish in black.

It was still a fun mani to rock with my gorgeous ring but not the exact look I was after!! Thanks for looking as always!

Hema One Coat longlasting polish in 205 NOTD
I have a super quick NOTD for you today using Hema One Coat longlasting in 205 in keeping with the pink theme for Breast Cancer Awareness month. I got this pretty pink polish in my swap with Inge from PolishSis.
205 is a beautiful bright pink with gold shimmer through it. This pink reminds of China Glaze Strawberry Fields but with gold shimmer instead of glass flecks through it. The bottle says 205 is one coat and it actually is! OMG! It applied like butter and I needed no cleanup - it can't get any better than this when I'm so time poor at the moment! I think Hema polishes are fantastic and this one was no exception. I'm still so happy to have received these for my collection =) How I would love some more of these beautiful good quality polishes!
Below is one coat without topcoat and as you can see it dried very glossy. Please excuse my dry hands and cuticles - moving a million and one boxes really dries out your hands!

Close up of the gorgeous shimmer:

I'm have no idea why when photographed it seems like I have VNL and tip wear but I can asssure you in real life this is definitely not the case - one coat is enough for opacity and i just applied the polish so I couldn't have tipwear! I then added a nail sticker which I received in one of my swaps on my accent finger. Colour wise my pics will be a little off at the moment as I'm working with lighting in my new room so please bear with me =)

Swap with Inge from Polishsis
June/July has been a major swapping month for me, I am so lucky to be able to to try so many polishes I would never be able to purchase myself =) Swapping is just so much fun! Thank you to all the lovely ladies who responded to my post last month! Here is another wonderful swap for you that I did with the fabulous Inge from PolishSis that arrived this week.

Aren't the colours Inge chose for me great! I love Werther's Originals sweets so they are all gobbled up already =p

The polishes were all wrapped so beautifully. I didn't want to open them up however I did of course but very carefully!

From L - R:
Catrice Plum Play With Me, London's Weather Forecast and GOSH Ocean. Isn't the GOSH stunning? I don't have any other blues like this so I'm so happy to add it to my collection. And more Catrice to play with yay!

From L - R:
Essence Return to Paradise in my little orchid and Essence Colour & Go in Sundancer and Hypnotic Poison. Inge also very sweetly included a very pretty purple Essence Return to Paradise lipgloss for me =)

From L - R:
Hema polishes in 81, 82 and 205. I've been lemming after Hema polishes for some time now after seeing them on Inge's blog. Thank you Inge for crossing these off my wishlist!
Unfortunately I ruined my last manicure using Adamo 83 which gave me a great excuse to try out Hema 81. It looks like an unassuming but very pretty blue in the bottle, so imagine my surprise when I opened it up to find that it was a jelly!! It is absolutely gorgeous on the nail and I love it. Application was a dream and below is 2 coats for opacity. No clean up needed either! I didn't want to konad or do anything much over the top of this beautiful colour, so I just added a rose water decal from Viva La Nails on my accent fingers. If other Hema's apply like this and are just as gorgeous as 81 I want more >.<
.
Thank you so so much for this awesome swap Inge! I cannot wait to do manicures with all the other colours =)
