OPI Black Shatter
I finally decided to pick up the much hyped about and sold out OPI Black Shatter the other day. I'm so glad I did because it's awesome!! I decided to layer it over my GOSH Holographic NOTD I showed you previously. My hands look a bit lobster-ish for some reason oops!

Application was perfect. I used 1 thin coat of Black Shatter and it shattered almost immediately. The combination of holo and shatter looked fantastic! My camera didn't pick it up that well though doh.

Do you have Black Shatter? What's your favourite layering combination?
I forgot to mention that Aysh is giving away a bottle of the awesome GOSH Holographic on her blog!!! If you'd like to win a bottle of this must have polish head over and enter here.
Thanks for looking!

GOSH Holographic
The sun was out on my day off a few days ago so I seized the opportunity to try out GOSH Holographic in all its glory! I received this must have polish from lovely Aysh– I cannot thank you enough hun!!!!! =D

It’s so blinding!! I was so beyond excited to finally try Holographic when the sun was out that my swatch is really quite messy but I didn’t care! It wasn’t as difficult as I thought it would be to apply however I found thicker coats were more forgiving as it does show bald spots easily when dry. All pics are 3 coats with no base or top coat and dry time was super quick. I’m going to let this FREAKING AWESOME holo speak for itself and just show you pics =D

A lovely package from Aysh!
A few weeks back I received a wonderful email from the gorgeous and very lovely Aysh who blogs over at Truly Madly Deeply. Aysh blogs about beauty, nails, fashion and also about lifestyle stuff which I love to read! I also love her British ramblings and sayings - like "chin wag" and "bits n bobs" =p She VERY generously offered to send me her extra bottle of GOSH Holographic as she knew I desperately wanted it. I was absolutely floored by her generosity!! I am constantly amazed at the kindness of others in the beauty blogging community =) Of course I couldn't thank her enough and took up her once in a lifetime offer!!

Not only did Aysh send me a bottle of the wonderful GOSH Holographic but she also included some Barry M polishes that were also on my wishlist and a packet of one of my favourite choccies Daim!! *jumps up and down in excitement* I must read like an open book because all you wonderful ladies know my tastes and likes down to a t somehow lol.

The very awesome GOSH Holographic (!!!!!!) and Barry M Berry Icecream. Unfortunately the bottle of Barry M Mint Green Aysh sent didn't make it though =( As you can see below the whole top of the bottle broke clean!! It was such a gorgeous green too ARGH. The GOSH bottle was cracked a little too but the glass is so thick it didn't do much damage phew. Damn mail people! The polish leaked everywhere in the package but thank goodness for remover! The bottles looked like brand new after I was finished with them hehe.

Thank you so much for crossing these off my wishlist Aysh and for the yummy choccies!!! You are such a gem! It's been so lovely getting to "know" you hun and I can't wait to try these out =) I'm glad you liked your package too! Unfortunately it's overcast here in Sydney at the moment so I'll have to wait to try out the GOSH. Make sure you check out Aysh's blog here! She does gorgeous FOTD, NOTD and reviews too =)

Swap with Inge from Polishsis
June/July has been a major swapping month for me, I am so lucky to be able to to try so many polishes I would never be able to purchase myself =) Swapping is just so much fun! Thank you to all the lovely ladies who responded to my post last month! Here is another wonderful swap for you that I did with the fabulous Inge from PolishSis that arrived this week.

Aren't the colours Inge chose for me great! I love Werther's Originals sweets so they are all gobbled up already =p

The polishes were all wrapped so beautifully. I didn't want to open them up however I did of course but very carefully!

From L - R:
Catrice Plum Play With Me, London's Weather Forecast and GOSH Ocean. Isn't the GOSH stunning? I don't have any other blues like this so I'm so happy to add it to my collection. And more Catrice to play with yay!

From L - R:
Essence Return to Paradise in my little orchid and Essence Colour & Go in Sundancer and Hypnotic Poison. Inge also very sweetly included a very pretty purple Essence Return to Paradise lipgloss for me =)

From L - R:
Hema polishes in 81, 82 and 205. I've been lemming after Hema polishes for some time now after seeing them on Inge's blog. Thank you Inge for crossing these off my wishlist!
Unfortunately I ruined my last manicure using Adamo 83 which gave me a great excuse to try out Hema 81. It looks like an unassuming but very pretty blue in the bottle, so imagine my surprise when I opened it up to find that it was a jelly!! It is absolutely gorgeous on the nail and I love it. Application was a dream and below is 2 coats for opacity. No clean up needed either! I didn't want to konad or do anything much over the top of this beautiful colour, so I just added a rose water decal from Viva La Nails on my accent fingers. If other Hema's apply like this and are just as gorgeous as 81 I want more >.<
.
Thank you so so much for this awesome swap Inge! I cannot wait to do manicures with all the other colours =)

Swap with Christina from Cel's blog
Hi ladies! I am so unbelievably happy that it is Friday today because this week at work has been pretty crap. I am totally tired so unfortunately no manicures for today. Bring on the weekend I say!
I have for you today an amazing swap which I just completed with the very lovely and talented Christina from Cel's blog. Christina is an absolute sweetheart and I love exchanging emails with her =) She has the cutest blog and manicures too and creates the most awesome deco products! Her Etsy store is totally droolworthy and I covet nearly every single item >.< Christina sent me some lovely Greek polishes as well as my 1st British polishes which she kindly got for me on her trip to London. She also included some wonderful extras and lots of food goodies for me!

From L - R:
Adamo polish in 83 and 86. 86 is similar to OPI Do You Lilac It which I was lemming from Christina's purple graduation mani!
And Art Deco polishes in 85, 83, 51 and 70. How cute are these bottles!

From L - R:
Erre Due polishes in 197, 94 and 109. These polishes look so pretty! Christina says the silver is perfect for konading which is great because I need a good konad silver. The pink glitter with hearts is so sweet!

From L - R:
Collection 2000 Hot Looks polishes in Button Moon and BMX Bandit and GOSH polishes in Rainbow and Gasoline. FLAKIES omg!!! Thank you for hauling this for me Christina!! =D

From L - R:
Barry M polishes in Strawberry Icecream, Blueberry Icecream and Pink Iridescent. My 1st Barry M's! A lemming fulfilled =)

Claire's mini polishes. These mini bottles are so super cute!

She also included a cute pair of tweezers and nail files (perfect size for my makeup bag yay!), and some BB cream samples. I've never tried BB creams so this is great!

So many Greek food goodies!!! She included sweets, biscuits, very luscious looking Greek honey and her hubby also included his favourite gum.
Thank you so much for this wonderful swap Christina! I cannot thank you enough and also for the blog award =D I love reading your blog so I award you back! I really look forward to our future swaps!
