It´s time for me, Christina, to blog for CME. This time I have made a baby card! Baby Twins! A boy and a girl, Alba and Francesco! This card will travel all the way from Sweden to Italy!

I have used some of my favorite stamps from hÄnglar & stÄnglar, they are so cute. All the design papers are from Maja Design!

I have used the following markers:

Skin E13-11-21-00-000-R11-20

Wedding Card

Hi you all!

Hope all is well! My summer vacation is over and I started back to work last Monday. But that is ok, I have lots of energy and I really enjoy my job.

Today's card is for a friend's wedding!

I really wanted to keep the colors light and soft but I don't know what happened. The wedding cake is a bit soft, but that's all =). The stamp is from Magnolia and I like it. It's a bit simple when you compare it to their other stamps, not much to color you would think. I got to practice my coloring-white skills.

I have used the following Markers

Cake W3-1-00-000-Blender
Bow BV04-02-01-00

Have a nice weekend!

And enjoying my hobby!

For today's blog post I have made a Clean and Simple card for a Little Miss Sunshine.

The image is from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and I quite enjoyed coloring her. I found a matching paper to her dress.

Birthday card

Hello!

It´s time for me, Christina, to hang around here at Copic Europe today.

I have made a birthday card - as usual - for a colleague of mine. She turned 60 a couple of weeks ago and can you guess her favourite colour? Yep - it´s purple! Not my cup of tea but I have found a few purple markers that I really like.

The stamp is from Magnolia and I simply love this one. It's perfect when you don´t know what image to use. It works well when you make a Birthday card, a Get Well card or a New Job card. And I get to colour some wood =). It's fun and a bit tricky!

The sentiments are from Gummiapan and the lovely designer papers are from Maja Design!

These are the Markers I have used:

Wheel barrow W6-4-E49-47-44-42-40
Flowers BV29-V28-25-22-20
Petals/grass YG99-97-95

Have a lovely Sunday!

Max 15

 Hi everybody!

It's time for me, Christina, to inspire you all on this lovely Monday. I'm currently on small trip to Krakow but that is a different story =)

My son, Max, turned 15 at the beginning of April and I made him a card, of course. Last year he got a birthday card with a cool skater dude but this time he got a fisherman instead. Since we live by the coast in Sweden, it's easy for him to get on his bike and go fishing. And I couldn't be happier because he is bringing home dinner!

Now for the card!

I have used this oldie from hÄnglar & stÄnglar and coloured him with my favourite Markers, matching the image with the patterned papers. The chipboard stars made the card complete!

I always try to match the gifts with the card and I think it worked well this time.

Now for the Markers I have used!

Made with love

Hello everybody!

Its time for me, Christina, to show you some inspiration here at Copic Europe this lazy Sunday.

I have made a baby card for a friend who is attending a baby shower today. Baby showers are not that common in Sweden, not yet, but I think it's a great way to celebrate the mother and to shower her with gifts and to pamper her all day long!

The card - I used this cutie from hÄnglar & stÄnglar. I'm so glad I got a hold of these stamps. I just love to color them. And I have used some favourite markers - the RVs.

Isn't she adorable? The sentiment says "made with love". I think it works well with the occasion.

I have used the following markers

Clothes RV97-95-93-91
Skin E13-11-21-00-000-R11-20
Hair E29-25-23
Ground E77-74-71-70

That's all from me this time! Until next time - have a wonderful Sunday and a lovely Easter..

Lea 8

Hi you all!

It´s time for me, Christina, to inspire you.

I have made a birthday card for a cute little girl, who is turning 8.

I used this cutie from The Greeting Farm and I just love her. The hair!! It so fun to colour. I coloured her three times, each time in different colours. But I think I like the black the most.

I have used the following pens

Skin E13-11-21-00-000-R11-20
Hair N9-7-5-3-BV29-100
Dress/scarf/bows RV69-66-63-10

Tutorial - coloring bricks

Hi you all!

It's Christina and today it's my turn to show a tutorial. I have really thought about this one and tried to come up with a good idea. The other day, when I was colouring a stamp for a Christmas card it hit me. I can make a tutorial of how to colour a brick wall. Or in my case - a brick chimney.

I had an idea of Santa going down the chimney or should I say - getting stuck going down.

I have masked two Magnolia stamps together as you can see below.

Instead of showing you picture by picture how I have made my tutorial I made a little movie.

My first one ever when I colour. I was a bit nervous. I wanted the bricks to have that rough way of looking, filthy and old. I got some editing help with my film from my daughter. We took away all the background noise (otherwise you would hear my husband doing Spanish with my son ;) ) and we sped it up a bit. Hope you will enjoy it.

Here is the final result:

I have used the following pens:

Bricks E19-17-15-13-43-W7
Boots W9-8-7 / Y26
Snow N2-1-0-BG70
Shadow C6-4-2-0-00

That's all from me! Have a nice week!

Tilda and Frosty

Hi!

It's time for me, Christina, to inspire you and I do it with a Christmas card. It's almost time to send them. A couple of weeks more and then they are off!
I just love to do Christmas cards and I'm usually finished by now because the past years I have made 1-2 card a month but not this year.

Not only do I love Christmas cards, I love doing them clean and simple.

Here is Tilda with Frosty the Snowman wishing Merry Christmans or God Jul in Swedish.

Don´t you just love coloring in red? I know most of you think it´s difficult but I think if you practice and practice you will come to love it!

Here are the pens I have used:

Fredrika 8

Hello!

How are you this lovely Saturday? It's time for me, Christina, to visit you all here on the Blog.

This time I have a Birthday card for you. Or for Fredrika to be correct. I got my hands on this beauty from the former Swedish company hÄnglar & stÄnglar. I think this image is perfect for a girl about to turn 8.

I have used soft beige and pink colours for this card, both the image and the patterned papers. All papers are from Maja Design.

Close up:

The more I worked on this card the more I came to love her name - Fredrika. So romantic!

Well - back to reality...you want to know what pens I used?

Same same but different

Hi there!
It's time for me, Christina, to show some cards I have made. Two small cards, almost the same. Very Clean and simple. Only the images and the papers are different.

I just love to work with these cuties from HÄnglar and StÄnglar. They are a bit big and I like that, more room to colour. Especially hair and faces.

First the girl

All the papers are from Maja Design and the sentiment says "Limited Edition" (in Swedish). I have used soft colours for the girl, a Blue Violet combination that I have come to love.

Close up at the creases.

And then the boy

Once again the papers are from Maja Design and I have used the same sentiment for this card. The colours are some of my favourite. Can´t live without E40 pens.

Red Corvette

Hi!
It's me again - Christina - and it's my turn to inspire you this first day in October!
My friend's daughter passed her drivers test and she is now driving around in her cute little red car.  All happy! I have this gorgeous stamp from Magnolia and it's perfect for a "Congrats on passing your driving test"-card.

I just love to color in red, especially with the pens I have used. Can you imagine I have only used one R-pen?

Diny taught me this colour-combo a few years ago and it´s my absolute favorite combo. The card itself had to be clean and simple, I wanted the car to shine. No flowers or other decorations. The text says "Congratulations on passing your driving test" and it's in Swedish.

Now - what pens if not reds?

That's all folks! Have a great day!

Wooden House

Time flies and it´s my turn to appear here at Copic Marker Europe. The summer is almost over here in Swedena and I´m working my way back into the craftroom.

Today I´m showing a CAS-card, a card you can use for someone who has moved to a new home.

I just love to color this way, to make it look like wood. The stamp is a freebie and I´m not sure where I found it. Sorry...

A new home, ready for it´s new tennents :-)

Close up of the little house...

...and bow!

I have use the following markers

Wood W6-5-4 / E49-47-44-43-42-40
Bow T5-BG99-96-93-90
Heart R89-(87)-85

R87 is a marker I have made myself by blending Various Ink R89 and R81 in an empty pen.

This is all from me this time! Have a wonderful day!

Christmas in July

Hello Copic lovers!
Christina here! Are you enjoying your summer? We have the perfect weather! For Copic coloring that is. Grey and rain, some days we even have a storm. So what can you do? Bake, clean and color, not necessarily in that order.

Have you started with your Christmas cards yet? Usually I make two cards per month but this year, so far, I haven't made a single one. Well now I have. I just love making Christmas Cards but it's no fun when it´s stressful, that is why I'm starting now in July.

I have chosen a stamp from Magnolia - Frosty - not much coloring you would think, since he is white...

I just love these Frosty stamps! He is soo cute! I have masked Frosty and the snowflake-circle together and the image gets quite big and I think a clean and simple card is perfect with a slightly bigger image.

There is a lot of white areas on him and to make it look white I have used some W-pens. Except from the hat, where I have use N-pens.

The background around Frosty I have used the Confetti-technique, mixed BGs and Ws dots.

Here are the pens I have used

Hat/scarf/mittens - BG75-72-(71)-70
White - W5-4-2-0-blender / N2-0-blender
Confetti BG72-70-W3-1-0

Have a great day!

Baby girl

Hello!
This is Christina from Sweden and I´m new here at Copic Marker Europe. I´m already a dt-member for the Swedish Copic designteam and I´m loving it. Copiccoloring is a way of life.

Now for my first project for Copic Marker Europe. I have made a babycard, for a newborn girl and I have used this cute stamp from hÄnglar &stÄnglar. I just love to do CAS cards and this is no exeption.

I´m so happy that I got hold of this stamp. The soft pink papers are from Gummiapan and so is the text, it says "Welcome to the world" in Swedish.

I have kept the card in soft pink colors and I have used some of my favorite Copics.

Copics I have used

Skin E11-21-00-000-R11-20
Hair E51-53-23
Pink RV(97)-95-93-91
Ground W5-3-2-1

RV97 is a pen I have made myself by blending RV99 and RV91 in an empty pen. It´s a bit tricky but worth it.

That´s all from me this time! Have a wonderful day!
