Cute Candy Bar Purse

Here is a candy bar or a treat purse I made a couple weeks ago.
So cute and easy to make.
Holds a mini size candy bar or a lipbalm stick.

 another view of the purse

I added black ribbon for the handles, I think it works better than the paper ones that I seen on the internet. And of course lots of bling. The bling is from a sticker sheet. Last but not least, I used a library clip for the closure.

Thank you for stopping today
Hope to see you again real soon.

Enjoy a relaxing day

I love making these Easel Cards.
They always end up so pretty.
I made this card thinking of something elegant. I think it sure did end up very pretty. Maybe not elegant, but close to it.
I made the flower from a diet coke pop can, and the #2 flower die. I added a biggy black brad in the center of the flower to keep it together. I have seen them all over blogland a while ago. Now they aren't so popular. But I wanted to show you how pretty those diet coke pop cans can make a gorgeous flower. I cut the leaves by hand and put a crease in them a little to add dimension to the leaves.

Left angle of the card.

Right angle of the card opened.

This is the front of the card closed.

This is the inside when fully opened up.

Stamps I bought from the Stamp Pad in Zoar, I don't remember who made them. If you are interested in them, let me know and I will see what the company name is on the stamps. My paper is from my stash.

Happy Easter Treats

Isn't this the cutest? This is one of the treats that I gave my grandchildren for Easter. Can you believe not CHOCOLATE. It was kind of messy to make, but worth the effort to have something for my grandchildren. It was terrible getting the piece of wood through that sticky marshmallow bunny. I had a some mess ups where the wood came out of the bunny's belly and the wood didn't do anything with the flavor, I just had to eat the mess ups. This is my favorite Easter Candy. I need these marshmallow things for every Holiday. And I have a brother-in-law that buys me some every Holiday. Plus I need to get me some also. I never have a shortage on them. Anyway, I made the tag with the Top Note Die and just stamped Happy Easter on one side of the die and the other side of the tag I stamped a bunny with a carrot. I stapled the tag on the cello bag and added a bow.

Birthday Wishes

I thought this would be nice to add candy in for a smaller child for his/her birthday. Love how it turned out. And I really like the color combo. I didn't think the red would go with this beige, but I think it looks okay. I used 2 pieces from the top note die and put a half of an envelope in the middle of dies to hold the candy, and used the ribbon to keep it shut. I thought I took a picture of the side view, but I couldn't find it anywhere on my computer. And those 2 dark things in the middle of the candy holder is the card holder, I didn't notice that they showed that much until now. Next time I will know to make sure they don't show. *

The balloon stamp is one of those Dollar Stamps I purchased from Michael's and I used the circle punch and the scalloped punch to make the tag. The Birthday wishes stamp is from Endless Creations. After I got this done, it needed something else, so I sponged the edges. Changed the looks a lot.

Thanks for stopping by... hope you are enjoying my creations.

Picture Holder

I made this picture holder for a friend, so she could store her snap shots in until she can get her scrapbooking pages done. A fabulous way to store the 4 x 6 pictures in. When family and friends visits, you can get the packet out and there is the pictures all together in one place.

I love the red, white and black combo. And just had to use dots. Love them. I added a red ribbon that slides off and on to close the packet. The paper is from my stash and I don't remember where I purchased the dots from.

Doctor Bag (for my sister)

I made this cute Doctor Bag for my sister. She recently had Knee Replacement. I thought it would be really cute to give to her. Inside the bag I added travel size packages of band-aids, Tylenol and tissues.

I saw this on Barb's blog with a tutorial, so I changed several things on it. Thanks Barb for the idea and at a perfect time where I could try and make one of them.

I used black cardstock. I run the top of the bag through the cuttlebug folder to give it a different look on the top. And that was all I could fit through the cuttlebug folder at a time. I had to hand cut the handles myself, so I hope that the handle looks like a doctor bag. I couldn't remember what kind of latch would be on a doctor bag, so I didn't add one to mine. I haven't seen one in a long time and then it was only on TV. I colored the Nurse Nora (from MFT) with the few copics that I own, thank goodness I had the right colors. Last I added the oval tag. Which all the punches are from SU.

For Someone Special

I made this over the Christmas Holidays and I just know found the pictures of it. So I thought I would show you how pretty it turned out.
I never made something like this before and I truly amazed myself when it turned out so pretty. I think this is a keeper for me.
I took a piece of cardboard and run it through the cuttlebug cutting out the Top Note Die Cut. Then I sandwiched the cardboard between 2 pieces of paper. Then I made the box and put the Top Note Cuts on top and the bottom of the box. Made the sentiment from the oval scallop, added the silk flowers and the leaves. Very pretty I might say.
