Steampunk theme at StampARTic

Fun challenge at StampARTic, where we challenge YOU to make a Steampunk card. I made these to project for the challenge, a card with my new Steampunk stamps and a tag with a digistamp from Octopode Factory. Gears is from Vintaj, Tim Holtz and some others :-)

Morsom utfordring hos StampARTic, der vi utfordrer DEG til å lage et Steampunk kort. Jeg har laget disse to prosjektene til utfordringen, og jeg har brukt stæsj fra Vintaj, Tim Holtz og andre. Motivet på tagen er fra the Octopode Factory, og motivene på kortet er fra noen australske stempler som jeg har kjøpt hos Stoff Import.

How I have made my card and tag....

I made the background on the card with Tim Holtz tape and Distress Stain. Easy and very fun to make. The gears is glued with Glue n' seal from Ranger, and I have used a lot of metallic rub-ons to get the effect I wanted. Around the egdes I have used the punch from EK that I call the "cheesy punch", and I have to say that this has to be my favorite one. Love it!

On the tag I have also used Distress Stain and water. Motive is colored with Copics and Stickles, and the gears are glued on with Glue n' Seal from Ranger. I have also added metallic rub-ons on it :-)

DT card for Andrine & Marens Landhandleri

New challenge for us on the Designteam at Andrine & Marens Landhandleri, and this time it was to make something with our "favorite colors". Did you get surprised? Brown & gold....hi hi hi :-) Anyway, I have been playing around with the japanese decor tape, and colored it in so many ways that you can not tell witch one I used...ups! The one most awesome things about this decor tape is that you can use your headgun and warm it up again and again without destroying it - johooo!! I am addicted to japanese decor tape, and I am proud of it :-)

En ny utfordring for oss på designteamet til Andrine & Marens Landhandleri, og det var å lage noe i "yndlingsfargene" våre. Overrasket at jeg laget noe i brunt og gull...? Hi hi hi :-) Uansett, så har jeg virkelig lekt meg med tapen denne gangen, og den er genial til steampunk kort!!!! Tapen jeg har brukt på dette kortet er riktig nok ikke gjenkjennelig fra hvordan den så ut i utgangspunktet, men det geniale er at jeg har brukt varmluft pistolen MANGE ganger og tapen er like fin - joooohoooo!!! Genialt!!! Ja, jeg er avhengig av japansk dekortape og jeg er stolt av å si det :-)

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge

I made this card for Tuesday Throwdown Challenge for the theme "anything goes and the task of creating anything what my heart desire". I love AngelEyes-stamps.....and acrylic paint, crackle paint, dabbers, distress, glimmer mist and more :-) This was a really fun card to do, but I get a bit impatient when it comes to the drying. The motive is from Kreativ Hobby, and are one of the new AngelEye-stamps that came out a week ago. Hope you like my card :-)

Jeg har laget dette kortet til utfordringen på Tuesday Throwdown hvor de har åpent tema med hint om å lage hva mitt hjerte liker! Jeg digger AngelEyes-stemplene.....og akrylmaling, crackle paint, dabbers, distress, glimmer mist og er :-) Denne gangen har jeg laget et kort som jeg virkelig har kost meg med, men ble litt utålmodig når det kom til denne tørkingen. Motivet er fra Kreativ Hobby, og er et av de nye AngelEyes-stemplene som kom ut i oktober. Håper du liker kortet mitt :-)

Steampunk is in the house...

...or should I say "steampunk style has arrived my head"...ha ha! Anyway, I just love making my own backgrounds with all different kind of products. No wonder that this style is perfect for me! Motive is from The Octopode Factory, and I have just fallen in love with these images. Hope you like my card :-)

...eller skal jeg si at det har ankommet mitt kreative hode...ha ha ha! Uansett, så vet de fleste at jeg liker best å lage mine egne bakgrunner med mange forskjellige produkter, så det er kanskje ikke så rart at jeg syns denne stilen er helt perfekt for meg?!?! Motivet er fra The Octopode Factory, og jeg har bare falt helt pladask for disse motivene! Håper iallefall at du liker kortet mitt :-)
