What a punk and we're off to Disneyland!

Hey all...before we head off to Disneyland thanks to BIL George who works there and gave us passed...I wanted to make sure I left you with a card. I want this to be a record week where I post from Monday to Friday! ;) Who knows when I'll do that again! LOL!

Anywho...this card I made for Club Anya's Getting Punky with it... challenge. Of course I am almost always late...but still...I had morphed my images together to make this punk so I had to color him up and slap him on a card...lol. Can you believe I used 3 digi's to make him? I used Flirty Edward, Joseph, & Dressy Jeremy. I used Edwards head and shaved off part of his hair to give him that mohawk...lol...then I used Josephs top part of his body and Jeremy's pants and eyes to complete my punk. I found some stickers I bought EONS ago and thought they were too cute not to used...they're "safety pin" stickers...lol...cool huh? Also went a bit nuts with the sewing machine as you can tell...lol. It needed to be used again...don't want it to collect dust! After I was done with it...LV told me he kinda looked like the drummer from Green Day...except he doesn't have green and black hair...so with that vision...I drew up a pair of drumsticks! :D He's dope! I have one more Green Day member to make...I already made the drummer on this card...and then the lead singer with this card...now one more to go to complete the band...lol! I've made some pretty awesome musicians huh? From the Jonas Brothers to Axl Rose...lol. Let's see who I make next! ;)

Monday Mania and CHA Relay!

Hey guys and Happy Monday? I don't know...I asked because I'm SO NOT a Monday person. I dislike Mondays with a passion...lol! Give me Saturday and I'm one happy girl! :P Anywho...I do like the fact that Club Anya has Manic Monday...why...because it's a challenge day silly! What better way to start off the week than a Club Anya challenge! I haven't really been able to participate in all of them since Club Anya & Friends kicked off...but I do hope this whips me into shape to play when possible. I've missed some really good ones too!

Well...today is MY turn to challenge YOU! WHAT? I was contacted by Jessica if I wanted to do a Monday...so DUH...of course I do! I'm a HUGE BIG fan of ALL things The Greeting Farm...but Anya is what first reeled me in to this company! :D So Club Anya & Friends for me is the place to be!

For my challenge...you're to make a card or project with the color challenge/inspiration I've provided AND to use pearls! Pretty simple right? Plus the color combo is delicious...and not to mention the inspiration picture USED to bring out the color combo! So here is my sample to give some inspiration! Can't wait to see what's created! Now as all fans of The Greeting Farm know...TGF is having a challenge contest! {Go HERE to see the details of it} First challenge is to use a VERY NEW digi (ONLY available to those who participate) image called Mer Ian! OMG when I saw him I got all excited and got to work IMMEDIATELY on him! Mermaid Anya has a boyfriend now...lol...and right before Valentines too! Don't want her to be in the sea all lonely now do we? :P

Ok I think I've done enough BLAH BLAH for today. Feeling a bit shaky so I'm gonna go chill for a bit. I'll be back tomorrow with Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge! :D

P.S. I want to thank everyone who has left comments and sent me emails for the get well wishes. I'm happy that you, that also have or had anxiety and panic attacks, CAN relate and understand. I don't feel alone! MOSTLY, I don't feel insane that it's just me...lol. ;) It's hard living with my hubby and kids NOT understanding what it's like. They have NO idea how scary and horrible they can be. The worst thing about my hubby is his common phrase..."RELAX"! Yeah...if I could relax wouldn't I be able to NOT have them?! UGH! That's NOT what I want to hear when I'm shaking and hyperventilating and cramping up...SO NOT fun! SOOOOO...a big shaky hug to you all!

Club Anya & Friends ONE challenge done...bummer!

So I set myself up for it...FAILURE! I knew I wasn't gonna be able to pull it off...yet I still decided I would try at least one! One what, you ask...one of the 12 challenges on Club Anya & Friends. I thought I would make it...but my cardstock supply is running on almost empty that I just backed out. I have much other stuff to do for design teams that I'm managing with what I have. I'm crossing my fingers to get an OK return on taxes even though I just worked a few months in the year. Hubby said I can buy more cardstock with that. If not...then my stamping days will come to an ugly halt due to our situation. Anywho...not to be a bring me down Betty...I'll stop there and just continue to pray for a bright light at the end of the tunnel. :)

So here is my card for the only challenge I was able to complete. The challenge first off was by Pam to "Bling It Out"! 5 challenges in 1!

First...GREETINGS FROM CORONA, CA! :)

Just when I think I can't possibly outdo myself in challenges...last one was 4 in 1...now I added 1 more!!! :O Can you tell I like to more than double dip when it comes to challenges? LOL! I do!

Anywho...I'm here at the in-laws home house sitting without Oscar and I'm bummed. They left to Bakersfield and will be back in the morning. So I brought with me my stuff to craft or else I'll go crazy! My MIL was laughing because she thought my craft cart was my luggage bag and said to me that I was only staying for one day. She cracked up even more when I showed her what was inside! XD I know...nuts huh? Still it's entertaining me while the kids are playing with my BIL's Playstation and XBox. He's 35/36 and no wife or kids...so you know he has toys! LOL! So yeah I'm in the back room on LV's laptop and I completed the challenges for 5 of the ones I'm working on.

The challenges are:
1. Anyone For Anya? To be "patriotic" and use the colors or your country flag. I didn't go with my Ol' US of A...instead I did my native country...Mexico! They're perfect Christmas colors too...lol! I could have easily used Spains colors too...but my heart is closer to Mexico.

2 AND 3. Club Anya's Mystery Monday AND I Wanna Be Just Like {Anita Hovey} For Mystery Monday we're to make a "snow" card. Well...I used Snow from Miss Anya AND added snow to her standing ground. Then I CASED Anita's card LO which is also in conjunction with...

4. JUGS sketch: The sketch resembles Anita's card so much I had to incorporate a bit of each WITHOUT leaving the LO out. What's similar in both? The JUGs sketch has that lower panel that I combined with Anita's lower sentiment and ribbon. The image panel are also very similar. The only difference is that the JUGs sketch is to the side rather than in the middle. I'm sure you can tell the similarities!

last but not least...

5. Copic Challenge: RED HEADS! I thought it was a bit more in depth to use red to make a red head...lol...but found it easy to use E18, E09, & E07 to make a red head! Thank goodness for my Copic chart book!

Happy Halloween Part Deux

Since LV was still sleeping and Ozzy was watching TV and all chores were basically DONE...I sat down with Lizzie to make this card for Club Anya's Mystery Monday Spooktacular challenge! The challenge was to make a spooktacular card using Anya or Ian...and I used both! I was gonna ink up my spooktacular set...but Lizzie came up with the idea of the angel and devil since that's her costume...half angel/half devil. All I did was color the images and make the airbrushed scene. She wanted THAT paper, THAT embellishments, and THAT layout. So this card is a collaboration...lol. I don't know if it would qualify for The Greeting Farm's "This Tot's Got____" challenge/contest. The ______ being "bling"! She wanted bling on Miss Anya's wings, halo, shoes, and some "jewelry" bling using hologram type stickers. She also wanted some bling on My Guy Ian's horns.

Here is Lizzie yesterday at school during the parade. Let me tell you that this costume is VERY her! She's not 50/50 though...this little girl is 60/40...you guess which one she's more! LOL!!! You can't tell in this picture...but she has some bling of her own! I did half her hair in curls with white glitter and the other half was teased with red glitter! Today I'm gonna put makeup on her though...my SIL ALWAYS trips out at the kids costumes and always chooses to use the ideas next Halloween...lol.

Ok so now I'm off! Ozzy wants me to watch Stay Alive with him...see ya!

I am "punch drunk" on "dazzling" Miss Anya flying over the moon on Halloween night!

Well isn't THAT a mouthful! LMBO! I sat down after some house chores and decided I was gonna work on 2 challenges...for The Greeting Farm's Farm Fresh Friday to use punches...I love punches :D...and Club Anya's Mystery Monday to make a card that DAZZLES! Oh you know I can do both! That's like telling me..."here's a box of Ferrero Rocher and a bottle of red wine...see if you can enjoy"... ;)

Ok...I wont babble to much...my hand is in pain and I'm gonna take some meds and head out to bed early. It's a nasty throbbing pain from the palm and extends to my fingers all the way to my elbow. It's not my carpal...that a whole different pain...so I'm thinking maybe my hands are just over worked. I still hand wash dishes and I can't use cold water...so I have to use hot or at least medium warm...so I'm thinking the cool air is giving me this arthritis like pain. YOUCH! I'll add any extra deets later on when I'm up and ready to get online again.

...but I'm the luckiest by far! Gotcha singing along? Yeah...I know you were...don't lie! :P LOL! Happy Late Saturday! I'm super excited to post this card! Why? Well...it's inspired by my all time favorite singers of the 80's...Madonna! Oh yeah baby! I have ALL of Madonna's songs on my iPod and I listen to her 80% (LOL) of the time when I craft...especially Material Girl!

When I first saw this Anya previewed I KNEW I had to have her! Ever since I first saw her I knew what I was gonna make with her...Madonna in the Lucky Star music video!

I even made her a mesh top, leggings, dangle earring, bangle bracelets, BIG bow...and of course...her famous mole! Oh yeah baby! I am SUPER excited and in love with this card! Thanks to Margie for coming up with this AMAZING idea to use stars as the focal point in a card over on Club Anya's Mystery Monday! I swear I love this card so much I have a HUGE smile on my face as I'm typing this! :D

I {Heart} Punches @ Club Anya

Hello and I missed ya the past couple days! It was just not my days! The night before I was having a really hard time...my legs and arms were cramping and I had a HUGE headache I just couldn't bring myself to do ANYTHING! I woke up today a little better and decided to join in the Mystery Monday challenge at Club Anya! Today's mystery challenger was none other than my girl Angie of My Boat! Dude...I have to say I LOVE her challenge! We're to use punches (or dies) in our creation. The challenge was titled I {Heart} Punches! I don't {heart} punches...like the ones when my brother would punch me "just for fun"... *rolls eyes*...but I LOVE anything die cut or punched!

Here is the card that I created. I think I went punch crazy...lol...I think lately I've been going a bit crazy on 'X' embellishments. This card is gonna go to a secret sister on SCS...I wont go too much into it so I wont give it away...but I hope she likes it! I had been dying to ink this Miss Anya for a while now and found the perfect reason to. :D Finally this winter girl came to life! LV picked what color combo to use and I think she made the perfect choice!

Early Monday post!

Hey there! I wanted to post this early instead of auto-piloting to make up for not only NOT posting on Friday but also because I'll be BUSY tomorrow! I'm gonna be working on some stuff that's close to being due and I don't like rushing when making my cards anymore. I use to just rush through them and not like the outcome. It's happened recently...but most def. for sure not on this card!

This card took me 1 hour to complete! Why? I honestly don't know. I guess because I kept rearranging the elements and adding and subtracting other elements...lol. In the end though I loved the outcome! I even finally got to use one of the crochet flowers I bought from Joani! Her mom, Rose, makes them! I also got to use some lace trim I won in a lot on eBay. Also...I got to break out my SU Hodgepodge Hardware I hadn't used in AGES!!! LOL! I'm so glad I finally got this Anya...Birthday Anya! I didn't buy her...she was in my wishlist...but I did win it from Club Anya's "I Wanna Be Like..." contest. :D

Anywho...I'll cut this short by saying that this card was made for 2 challenges. Challenge 1: Anyone For Anya? Funky Flowers challenge! Challenge is to use flowers in your creation...I LOVE FLOWERS!!! O_O Challenge 2: The Greeting Farm-Farm Fresh Friday's "Emboss It"! I hope you sang along! :P I love singing that when we watch Harry Potter! LOL! Makes me feel like I'm at Hogwarts! Of course I'm a Slytherin though...but still...I'm a softer Slytherin. ;)

OMG was this little project fun! I was browsing videos on YouTube on coloring with Copics and came across a video on how to color hair etc. by Suzzane Dean and so I took a look at her blog and downloaded some PDF's she had on coloring and what not. The I noticed there was a purse/box one...and so I downloaded it too! When I opened it I ooh'd and ahh'd and HAD to make my own! I was working on challenges...but I think I may have crafters ADD...LMBO! Still...I love how it came out! Plus I also tried something new...BLONDE HAIR! :O I didn't go for the normal yellow...I also reached for some E's! I still need more practice...but it's not THAT bad for my first try! Plus Plus I didn't have the exact blonde colors asked for...so I did do with what I had and tried to keep in the same tip as the letter, and numbers! ;) That's another tip I learned but this one from Marianne of I Like Markers.

Miss Anya makes a cute witchy huh? LOL! I added the witch hat and the cauldron from the Holiday Accessory set from Bombshell Stamps! The gems were what I won from a blog candy from Lorainne at Taviascharmsfavoritethings. They're from Prima...they are awesome! That yummy orange ribbon was also a gifty from Michele P. of Enchanted Stamper. Thanks girls for providing me with awesome elements to make this "tote" come alive! Oh...and I also drew in Miss Anya's wand! LOL! :D

I wanna be like Pam!

Yes I do! I do wanna be like Pam!

When I saw the challenge over at Club Anya I had to take it! I really liked Pam's LO and had to make my version. For the challenge you're suppose to use the same LO or very similar. I chose to go gothy because I have my current SCS swap in mind. Plus I haven't used purple much and it's my favorite color. I had this image in mind for a while now...so I decided to break it out of my brain files and finally bring it to life. I'm not too happy with the coloring using the purples because I have limited V's/BV's...so I made work with what I had...but not 100% happy.

Here is a card I made for the hop...it's out of this world! LOL! My DS helped me put it together...well...I did the putting together and he told me what I should use. I had initially just wanted to make a card depicting Space Ian who hadn't seen ink yet...but when my son painted the idea of using a spaceship and alien...I HAD to go for it to make it WOW! Then my little one...Lizzie...chimed in and said I should add a springy star...lol. Then I had the "genious" idea, I say genious and I'm sticking with my story :P, because I used glow in the dark fabric paint for a few stars and the aliens spots. WHAT??? Yeah...glow in the dark paint! I tried taking a picture of it in the dark...but I couldn't fix a setting on my camera to capture a good picture. :(
