I altered a notebook for a friend using a Saturated Canary image. I love this image and its perfect for gym lovers out there!
Something a little different for me but altering notebooks is still one of my favourite things to create. I layered some patterned papers, stitched the edges and inked them. Distressed the alpha's and finished it off with some flowers and pearls.

WOJ - Monthly Project - Altered Tin
This month is my turn to join in WOJ's Monthly Project and what an awesome project it is - an Altered Tin.
I altered my tin and made a matching tag with WOJ's 'Large Nested Tags Die-Light', which is a new die that has just been released.
The gorgeous cutlery is a fabulous new Die-Light 'Cutlery', the sentiment is one of my faves again WOJ's 'Festive Occasions', the brown satin ribbon is WOJ's 'Coconut Brown', the patterned paper is Glitz Design, flowers are Kaisercraft and lace is from my stash.
A close up of the matching tag to write a personal message.
I had so much fun creating this, I think I am going to start collecting my empty tins!
Thank you for stopping by and for your lovely comments.

along the way!

This beautiful image is 'Spring Bees'.
With this sweet image I decided to alter a notebook. I layered and stitched some patterned papers, added a doily and some lace for a delicate touch and some stickles to the bee's wings and edges of the image to add a bit of sparkle.
To my flower cluster I added a WOJ charm and WOJ's Vintage Button Twine to finish it off.
Your next stop is KATHRIN'S blog.
Thank you for joining us, I hope you are enjoying the blog hop and gorgeous release this month and a happy Easter to you!

Christmas Bauble
I had so much fun making this Christmas bauble!
Henry Hugging Christmas Bauble has been coloured with Copics in shades of grey. Popped some artificial snow in the bauble and finished it off with a silver bow and silver twine.
Finished the back off with a Christmas sentiment and some artificial snow.
I shared this on WOJ's World of Ideas Blog, you can have a look here. Thank you for stopping by and for your lovely comments.

WOJ - Preview 2
I am definitely getting into the Christmas spirit early with all these gorgeous Christmas images from WOJ. I have been playing this weekend with the images from WOJ's stamp kit, I have been colouring with Copics, getting messy with embossing powders and having lots of fun with all the Christmas goodies in my stash.
I used a kraft tag and stamped the WOJ snowflakes on the background and then heat embossed them with white sparkle embossing powder. I then blended some Vintage Photo distress ink over the whole tag. WOJ's Henry has been coloured with Copics, fussy cut and finished off with some distress stickles to his wings and a touch to his star.
I created a matching gift box for a special little person and I am going to pop her Christmas present into it, so much nicer than the box the shop gives you :)
A view from the side, simple but added lace and the doily to give it that soft delicate finish.
The Christmas tree die cut is WOJ's Christmas Tree Nested Die-Light and I finished my tag off with some WOJ Vintage Button Twine and WOJ charm Christmas Treasure.
Don't forget WOJ's Fall and Winter stamp kits will be available on the 11th in digi's. Thank you for stopping by and for your lovely comments.

WOJ October Project
This month's theme is 'Fall Decorations' so I doubled up on this one and decorated a box with a tag for a thank you gift!
For the tag I simply stamped 'Birdie Love' onto kraft cardstock and used white embossing powder, then did the same with the sentiment, the sentiment is WOJ's 'General Sayings II'. I cut around the image and left a border all the way around and created a hole at the top to add some WOJ 'Button Twine' to my tag.
I bought the box from a local store and was already the perfect colour for the Fall theme.
I added some burlap to add to the rustic theme and used Crate papers to decorate the box, perfect Fall colours. The leaf is WOJ's Die-Light 'Leaves Trio' and the rose is WOJ's Die-Light 'Rolled Scalloped Flower'.
I didn't adhere the tag, so the box can be used without my thank you note attached!
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to pop over to WOJ's Blog to see the rest of the DT's October creations!

Notebook
My poor little neglected blog..........the month of May turned out to be a hectic time for our family. We have had lots going on and just when I thought things were starting to calm down, we spent most of last weekend in hospital with my darling daughter. She had to go to theatre for a surgeon to stitch her top lip, so after antibiotics, a tetanus shot and a trip to theatre she is on the road to recovery!
So this weekend I am catching up on house cleaning, wish there was no such thing as chores and I could just sit at my desk and play! Oh well, such is life but I still have quite a few projects to share with you, this is my DT Monthly Project for WOJ, the theme for May was a 'notebook'.
And I love altering notebooks! Something a little different for me, no stamped image! Instead I had heaps of fun with WOJ dies.
I have used WOJ 'Lovely Doily', 'Cute Butterfly Trio' and 'Fancy Hearts' border die. And finished it off with a WOJ flower 'Aster Daisy Light Pink'. I kept it pretty simple because this little book is for me to jot down notes, things to do, remember etc. so I wanted something simple and a little bit durable.
I will be back with more to share, I hope everyone is safe and keeping well, thanks for stopping by!

WOJ Challenge #154
Now for some catch up blogging! The last WOJ Challenge #154 was 'Anything but a Card', this is my little project, a altered notebook.
This cutie is WOJ Henry 'Enjoying Spring'.
I used some older MME papers from my stash, finished the cover off by layering some patterned paper, a doily, flower, some washi, a mini tag and clip with some twine.
Thanks for stopping by, I will be back with some more projects to share!

Lime Tart - Cards
I can't believe it is April already and Easter has come and gone! However, in our house we still have what seems like an endless supply of chocolate - oh dear :(
With my March Half Tart kit I created a set of cards and a gift box to pop them in.
An inside view!
The top of the box is pretty simple with some handmade roses to finish it off.
I kept the cards simple as well, this way is quick and easy to create a heap of cards and by keeping the design basic, they are easy post and can be used for a variety of occasions.
I am off to finish cleaning my desk so I can finish my cards, I have been playing with WOJ's April release and they are gorgeous, can't wait to show you!
Thanks for stopping by and for your lovely comments.

didn’t come here from the lovely Karina’s blog, then head on over to the start of the hop at Katharina’s blog. I don’t
want you to miss a single stop on this hop!
This month, we are switching things up a little bit and have a
Spring-themed hop! With so many amazing images released in the months of
January & February, we aren’t releasing any new ones this month, instead we
are celebrating Spring with some gorgeous decor and gift ideas! All the images
we have used today are already available and waiting for you at our Whiff of Joy on-line store!
The hop will remain open until midnight CEST midnight
Wednesday March 2oth. Winners will be announced by Katharina on her blog.
We have a little project going on at our home, we are just waiting for cooler weather before we start but the kids are super excited. We are starting our own vege garden so I have created a mini album to record the different stages and everyone's involvement with the goal being picking our own vege's to eat! So I have this darling image for my cover 'Love Grows Happiness', perfect don't you think?
The box you see in the background is a special box to germinate the seeds before we transfer them to our garden and some packets of our vege seeds.
A close look at my cover, I have used some of my favourites again. WOJ 'Sweet Tags with Hearts' die, WOJ Button Twine, the gorgeous charm is from WOJ 'Foodlovers', the papers are MME 'Tangerine', doily from my stash, alphas and flower are Prima.
This is the inside, I chose a mini album that has pockets so I can add extra photo's, you can see this where I have inserted a tag. I will be back when we start our vege garden and show you my album as we go along.

Heart Pin Cushion
I have one last little project to share with you from my November A La Tarte kit........included in the kit is a Maya Road linen heart and what a perfect solution for my hat pins!
Small bits and pieces like hat pins are packed away in my drawers and sadly I have to admit, I forget about them at times. So I decided to make a pin cushion to display them :)
I hand stitched with red cotton and adhered the ribbon flowers from the kit to make it look all pretty for my craft area! And I added some ribbon so I can hang it above my desk where I can easily see it!
I have done a little tutorial, so have a look here for some details and thank you for stopping by and for your lovely comments!

Just popping in here to quickly let you know Lime Tart's September gallery is up and ready for viewing. Lots of gorgeous inspiration, so grab a cuppa and have a look here.
I got to play with the A La Tarte and here are some of my creations.
Created a gift set with some matching envelopes.
You can't really see in the pics but I stamped in two shades of ink - Rusty Hinge and Mustard Seed.
And the finishing touch to the set :)
Short and sweet tonight, got heaps to do. Thanks for stopping by and for your lovely comments.
