Introducing Colour Me...! Design Team #4!

It's that time - time for the big reveal!

We'd like to thank everyone who submitted to the Design Team call. We were so overwhelmed by the interest and creativity! We appreciate everyone's support and love having you with us with each new challenge. 

It is now time to introduce you to the lovely ladies who will be inspiring you from July-December:

Antonia Speelman

My name is Antonia, and I live in the Netherlands.

I've been crafting ever since I was little and love nothing better than escaping to my craft room to play with my stamps, papers and all the colors, glitters, dazzles and sparkles.

Being creative is a big part of my life and I hope some of that passion rubs off others along the way. I like the clean and simple style, but also the vintage style, but in a kind of modern way.

I have been inspired by so many other talented people out there & I hope I can inspire you.

Bhavana Kesarkar

Hi Everyone, I am Bhavana, I was born and brought up in India. I worked as a software engineer for 8 years and left my job to pursue my passion. Year and half back I moved to beautiful state California with my husband. Crafting has always been my passion and I am happy to be pursuing it full time. I love anything and everything artsy. I am fond of color and sketch challenges. And love the different papers, textures, inks, stamps and everything in cardmaking. 

I am so excited to be a part of Colour Me design team. Looking forward to have fun card making time here.

Jinny Newlin

My family and I live in a small suburb of Kansas City, Kansas, just over an hour and a half north of where I grew up.  I am a former kindergarten teacher turned adoring wife to BJ and stay-at-home, homeschool mom to Ezekiel (11), Adina (6), and Kaden (1).  When I’m not taking care of or playing with my family, you can find me cooking, baking, gardening, camping, sewing, taking pictures, blogging at Soaring, and of course, paper crafting.  My love for the latter started, over thirteen years ago, at a Stampin’ Up workshop; but I have been creating with any and every form of crafting media, that I could get my hands on, since I was old enough to hold a crayon.  I’ve been honored to have had a number of published works of art, as well as to get to design for some of my most favorite manufacturers and challenge blogs, and am just thrilled to have the privilege of joining the talented crop of designers at Colour Me…!  I hope that I can inspire you all to get creating!

Kim Heggins‏

Married with a daughter just about finished with college. I am a preschool teacher at a Christian school. Love to craft in my Disney/Mickey Mouse themed craft room, it is my favorite room in the house and my sweet hubby calls it Disneyland North. In addition to paper crating I love to sew, quilt and bake. 

Ren Loh

Hi everyone, my name is Ren and I live in the sunny island of Singapore with my husband and eight year old son. 

I have always loved paper crafting since young but only started to take up this hobby more actively late last year when I became a stay-home mom.  And with that, I started blogging as well to share my creative journey with fellow crafters. I have been so privileged to "meet" and interact with so many like-minded crafters who are ever so generous in sharing their works and designs.

I am very excited to be part of Colour Me...! Design Team and can't wait to share this wonderful journey with everyone.  Let's all have a colorful crafting time together!

Valentyna Komisarenko‏

My name is Valentyna and I am a craft and blog addict, and a little bit crazy pinterester. I started cardmaking and blogging in 2011 at The Fairy and enjoyed every minute of it. Actually all my papercrafting, cardmaking and blogging started from getting Cricut as a present from my husband :). My blog was a great place to connect with crafters and find fanatics of cards, as I am. Three years after I started blogging, I decided to move to a different blogging platform, new name and a whole new concept. Flourishtina.com was born. The Flourishtina changed my style. I used a lot of paper before. Now more often I make CAS cards. I started using stamps and inks everywhere, but cooled off to embellishments.
Hope you can find an inspiration on my blog. I will be happy to meet new friends and share my papercarft passion with you!

Angel Johns

My name is Angel Johns. I am a wife to Chris and a stay at home mom to my two boys (14 & 4). We live in north Georgia and love spending time together.I have been paper crafting for almost 20 years. Scrapbooking was my first passion but card making and stamping has taken over my life the past few years. I love in, stamps, paper, color, texture and trying out all the new trends. 

Being part of a design team helps push me out of my comfort zone and I can't wait to join this Colour Me...! team every week to create for you. I am very honored to be a part of this team! Happy Crafting!

Jenny Engelke

Hi! My name is Jenny Engelke and I'm from a small community in the NE corner of Montana. I'm a mom to three boys (18, 16, and 19( and have been married to my amazing husband, Alan, for almost 21 years. I was introduced to Stampin' Up when I was pregnant with my oldest son, and decided to make my own baby announcements and I was hooked from there. I've dabbled in scrapbooking, and other forms of crafting, but card making has been my passion. I became a Stampin' Up Demonstrator two years ago and have enjoyed it tremendously!

Julia Wilson

Hi, it's Julia! I'm the crafter behind a little project I like to call 'z2 crafts' I am a self proclaimed member of Hogwarts' Hufflepuff House, reality TV junkie, and guacamole enthusiast. For the first eighteen years of my life, I thrived on the pursuit of my very own KitchenAid stand mixer. Once I crossed that milestone off my list, I did some wandering, a little soul searching, and stumbled upon card making when I crafted baby shower invitations for my sister. I was immediately hooked and the rest is history. 

I'm thrilled to be joining the Colour Me...! Design Team! I can't wait to pay it forward by spreading the challenge's positive energy and encouraging other paper crafters.

Katie Brooks

Hiya! I'm Katie Brooks (aka kbstamps) from Seattle, WA. I am a mom to a beautiful 7 year old girl name Sophie and have a wonderful husband named Jeremy. I work full time in the HR field. I have had a love for arts/crafts all of my life, it was passed to me by my parents. I've tried so many things, but making cards is my fave as I can easily share it with those I love! 

I really enjoy playing in challenges, it's a fun way to be inspired and see through the eyes of others, which is why I'm thrilled to be a part of the Colour Me...! Design Team! So lucky to be here with all these talented folks!

Sandy Mathis

Hi everyone! My name is Sandy Mathis. I live on beautiful Long Island, New York, which is known for it's gorgeous parks and beaches. I'm a wife and mom to three adult kids and one fur child, a kitten named Oliver. I've always loved crafts of all sorts by I am totally addicted to paper crafting. I love blogging and participating in challenges and feel so fortunate to have made so many amazing friends along the way who share the same passion. When I have time, some of my other interests include cooking, jewelry making, gardening, reading and biking.

I am so excited to be one of the newest designers at Colour Me...!

Tanja Kabel

Hi there, my name is Tanja and I live in Germany with my wonderful husband, two children - Finn (7) and Emily (4) - and four cats: Tapldi, Simba, Finnja and Cookie. I am addicted to stamping and paper crafting for a while now and I decided to start my own blog in February 2014. I love to try new techniques and to create little scenes. My favourite colouring mediums are pencils and watercolors and I also adore the whole range of Distress products. 

I am delighted to join this fantastic challenge as a Design Team Member and I really hope that you will get inspired by my projects.

Julia Altermann

Hello! I'm Julia, and while I've always been interested in crafting & coloring, I've only gotten serious about it in the summer of 2013 when I created my dad's present for his 80th birthday. Since then, I've been hooked on stamps and dies and find card making a wonderful creative outlet. I'm originally from the wonderful city of Dresden, Germany, but have moved to Stuttgart a while ago to work the job my dreams: we make apps for iPhone, iPad, and Mac and I love my small team and can't wait to go to work every single day. Seriously! 

At home, my (slightly crazy) cat Sissy demands my attention and isn't shy about sabotaging my crafting if she feels left out. I've explained to her that my responsibilities are a bit more serious now that I've joined the Colour Me…! Design Team and that I'm tickled pink about it! I'm looking forward to work with these other wonderful ladies and to see what you make of our challenges.

Sherrie Mannion

Hello! My name is Sherrie and I’m from New Jersey. I’m blessed with a  wonderful husband and three daughters that are very supportive of my crafty pursuits. I discovered pretty patterned paper and scrapbooking  back in 2003 when my first daughter was born and have delved deeper into the world of paper crafting ever since. I started making cards 3  years ago out of necessity but once I started playing around with  stamps and inks I couldn’t stop.  Nothing makes me happier than to  see my girls pull out the scrapbooks on their own just to see their  photos and read their stories or to put a pretty handmade card in the  mail. I am thrilled to join the Colour Me…! team and look forward to  stretching our creative muscles together.

Claire Broadwater

Hi! My name is Claire Broadwater.  I live at Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Georgia.  It is a beautiful lake/golf community an hour east of Atlanta on Lake Oconee.  My husband, Bill is my biggest supporter.  I have twin sons and a bonus son and daughter.  We have five Grandchildren and we are expecting two more in July.  There is never a dull moment at our home.

I am a retired Elementary Educator. (27 years)  I have been cutting and pasting paper for as long as I can remember.  I was an avid Scrapbooker for years and was introduced to Stampin’ UP! two years ago.  I became a Demonstrator the first day!  I absolutely LOVE making cards and teaching others how to make them.  Embossing paper, bling and ribbon make me happy!  I started a blog last year to share my creations and have met so many fabulous people through challenges.  

I am THRILLED to be asked by Hayley and Tara to be on the Colour Me...! Design Team!  I look forward to the challenge and meeting new friends!  

Joanne James

Hello I’m Joanne and live in Northampton in the UK, although I’m Welsh at heart! I have always been creative and enjoy lots of crafts and papercrafting and rubber stamping is my passion. I only discovered Stampin’ Up! relatively recently and became a demonstrator 2 years ago. I love that Stampin’ Up! enables me to share my passion and creativity with others through parties, classes and writing my daily blog, which is my therapy!

I am a busy Mum of a 9 year old daughter and 6 year old son and have an amazing husband who is as much of a whizz with the ironing board as he is an IT genius! I love both colour and sketch challenges and am thrilled to have been asked by Tara and Hayley to join the Colour Me…! Design Team. I am excited at the prospect of working with this group of super-talented ladies and look forward to sharing our creative ideas with you.

Rosemary Dennis

Hey there .... rosigrl!

Hi everyone!  I’m Rosemary and I live in the beautiful state of Washington with my  husband and two boys.   I have been crafting in some form or another for longer  than I care to remember, lol!  But I started paper crafting serious in around 2008  when I found the online world of paper crafting.  I did a lot of “lurking” before I  started playing along in challenges and starting my blog in May of 2009.  Over the  last few years I have served on several different design teams and have been  fortunate enough to have my work published in many different paper crafting  publications.  

I’m super excited to be a part of the very first “Colour Me” design  team!

Hi my name is Sam, I live with my fantastic partner Jono and my mad cat, Patch, who thinks he's a dog. We live in the quaint, quirky and amazing ye old City of York - UK. I guess it should come as no surprise to you that I love card making. I started crafting about six years ago, when I fell in love with paper and stamps and I'm not afraid to say that it is a bit of an obsession really. I am also a bit of a photography geek and will mostly be seen with camera in hand if I'm not making cards. 

I am super excited to be a part of this new venture at Colour Me...! I can't wait to work with such a fab group of women!

Hi! My name is Brenda and I live in Ottawa, Canada and I’ve been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for two years. I love it and am totally addicted to paper crafting! My husband and I have been happily married for 15 years and have two fabulous kids.  I am a stay-­at-­home mom and when I'm not crafting or volunteering at the kids' school, you can find me in the kitchen indulging in my other passion, cake decorating. 

I am super excited to be joining the Colour Me…! Design Team and am looking forward to sharing this journey with all of you.

Sweet 'n Spiffy

Hi! I'm Katie and I have been making cards since 2008. Having my daughter inspired me to try my hand at scrapbooking and soon it turned into a full-blown paper crafting obsession (we all know how easily that happens, right?) Luckily my wonderful husband Ken is super supportive of my "habit". We live in a small town in Washington state with our 3 year old little Ansley, and our spoiled cat, The Bean. I work in a medical laboratory, so after being in the lab I love to get creative and my favourite way to do that is with stamps, ink, and paper. I started blogging in 2012 and I'm amazed at the amount of talent and support for others that is out there, what an awesome community!

I'm super excited to be a part of this brand new challenge and I can't wait to see what everyone out there creates! Keep it crafty!

Hello! My name is Hayley and I live in Ontario, Canada. I have been paper crating for about 10 years now and 3 years ago I became a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. I have made some fabulous friends over the past 3 years sharing what I love with people through my classes and blogging. I am the very proud mother of a 4 year old boy and a 1 year old girl and have a beyond amazing husband who helps me to do the things in life which make me happy! When I'm not spending time with my beautiful family or tucked away in my craft room, I have the privilege of being a birth and postpartum doula. 

Tara and I have been talking about creating a blog for some time now. I am so very excited that we have finally had a chance to put our ideas in motion! Looking forward to the FABulous projects you will be sharing with us as we "get to know" each other along the way!

Can't Stamp the Rain

Hello! My name is Tara and I live in Ontario, Canada. I've been crafting for as long as I can remember, but only recently discovered Stampin' Up! (about 3 years ago). I love anything to do with colours and design, and I love sharing with and learning from all the talented people I come across on this journey. I have two young boys (2 and 5) and a wonderfully supportive husband. When I'm not crafting, I'm working my "day job" as a Product Manager, or spending time with my fabulous family.

I am SO thrilled to be co-creating Colour Me...! with my dear friend Hayley and can't wait to meet many more friends and be inspired by all of you! Welcome!!
