Happy April! I am so ready for spring. I hope it is going to come around my way soon, although today is supposed to be in the 50's. Yippee!
What the question is, what did I accomplish this month? Well, not as many finishes as February, but I have a lot of nice starts and some new quilt tops.
1. Casserole Carrier
2. 2014 Pantone Challenge Quilt
3. Mod Olive block
4. RMQG QAYG Demo sample
5. Tree quilt top and quilting
6. Tree quilt back and board basting tips

Elephant Update
I've been working like a dog, trying to get my Elephant quilt completed.
All three panels are quilted and trimmed, ready to join.
I really like the different textures of the quilting.
I plan on using a lime green to join the panels to pick up the lime around the elephants.
I used Quilters Dream Puff batting, so the "unquilted" areas really puff up.
I'm linking up with A Quilt Story for Fabric Tuesday and Free Motion by the River for Linky Tuesday.

A Quilt Story Feature!
WOW! My Urban Nine Patch quilt is being featured on A Quilt Story today. If you are visiting from A Quilt Story, WELCOME! Please have a look around the blog!
I really love this quilt pattern by Jenny Pedigo at Sew Kind of Wonderful. Her Quick Curve Ruler and tutorials for sewing curves are fabulous. The quilt is approximately 40" x 40", my first all solids and curved pieced quilt. Teals and lime greens are one of my favorite color combinations, but I really wanted a punch of color and I think the orange just kind of made this quilt.
