Think Green!

Happy Tuesday!   For me it feels like it should be Wed or Thursday by now.  This means it is going to be a long week.

March means alot of things.  Hopefully it means Spring is around the corner,  Easter is coming and we Irish folk celebrate St. Patty's Day!  It has been years since I have actually celebrated it but still being Irish I do acknowledge it.  The theme this week for Going Grey with Scrap-Creations is Going Green.  You can interpret this any way you want but for me it says Happy St. Patty's Day.  We are lucky enough to have Digital Delights to sponsor us again so I got to use this adorable  little guy for my card.  Do you like my DP?  If you have not noticed Digital Delights is also making DP now!!!  How great is that?   I really liked this one with the shamrocks but they have some other great paper you can download and use!

You should check out the other DT's wonderful cards using the Digital Delights stamps.  They came out great!  You can find their links on my sidebar.
Also, did you know that Going Grey with Scrap-Creations is having a DT call?  Pop over to Kristen's blog and check out the requirements.  I think you will find they are easy and we have alot of fun.

The other wonderful challenges this card fits are

Penny's - Green - I normally don't use alot of Green on my cards but how can you not with St. Patty's Day

The Paper Variety - Green - Yes it is the time of year where Green is the color!

Stamp Insanity - Texture - I love texture.  I have the dotted swiss ribbon and the embossed strip on this card.
Fussy & Fancy - Embossing or Paper Piecing - I choose embossing.  I love my folders.  I used on of my new sizzix on this one.
Paper Cutz - St. Patty's Day - The day of the year we Irish get to say we love our heritage!!

Card Makin Mama's - Green - I liked how the greens on this card came together.  I don't normally use these colors.

Aly's Sunday Challenge - YEAH!  Anything Goes is the theme!

Digi's with Attitude - Anything Goes - I love these themes!  My card fits perfectly

Alphabet Challenge - R is for Ribbons - I love ribbon!!!  I especially like this polka dot.
Fairy Knoll - Green - I didn't know how this would come out because I don't use Green often but I like how it looks.
Catch the Bug - Anything Goes - Another great theme that I know I fit into!

Craft your Passion -  Anything Goes - I do love this theme!!

Shabby Tea Room - Luck of the Irish - I am Irish and I am always looking for Good Luck!

Crafty Emma - St Patty's Day - The day we Irish love!!!!  I'll need to get some green beer!!

Stamping with the Dragon - Green, Gold, Yellow, White - Perfect for St Patty's Day.

Paper Playtime - Digi Monday and Anything Goes - My card fits both!

The Crafty Pad - Ribbon - I do love my ribbon!

Thank you for visiting.  I hope you like my St Patty's card.  Thanks to everyone who leaves a comment.  I love reading all of them.

Once Upon a Time

Good Morning.  How's everyone's week going?  Mine is nice.  I am on vaca but at home so I just get to do what I want, when I want.  I love it!!

Today's Tuesday so that means the Going Grey with Scrap Creations challenge.  This week's theme is Fairy Tales and Digital Delights is sponsoring us!!!  Get out all that Glitter and Fairy Tale theme stamps and play along!  You can win!  Remember the one rule is that you use Basic Grey paper but other than that you are free to create whatever you want!

The other wonderful challenges this fits are:

One Stitch at a Time - Pack a Punch - I love punches and die cuts.  I used the MS punch across the paper and layered my Spellbinders for the princess to sit on.

The Crafty Pad - Glitz and Glitter - I thought the princess needed glitter so I glittered her dress and hat.  That wasn't enough so I glittered around the edge of the spellbinder die cuts.

The Pink Elephant - Ribbons and Sparkles - I have glitter on the image and around the die cuts and I but ribbon on top of the MS punched edging.

The Res-Q - Smile - You needed to have a smile on your image or the word smile on the card.  My princess is smiling...

Stamp Something - Fairy Tales - Who would have thought that there would be another Fairy Tales challenge.

Frosted Designs - This was such a neat challenge.  There is a list of 10 ingredients and you need to use 5 of them.  I used a Punch, Purple, Glitter, Ribbon, Flowers.

Waltzingmouse Sketch - I loved the simplicity of this sketch.  I thought I could highlight the princess well with it.

Thanks for stopping by to look at my card.  Thanks to everyone who comments.  I appreciate reading them.

Bee Happy

Good Morning.  I hope everyone is having a good week.  The weather here is still Hot and Humid.  I am so sick of this weather.  The good news is that it is Tuesday so it is time for the Going Grey with Scrap-Creations challenge.  This week we have a Recipe.  You need to use at least 3 embellishments on this card.

We have a wonderful sponsor this week also.  Digital Delights by Looby Loo!!  You can win a $10 Gift Certificate!  She has the most adorable Digi's.  This is one of them.  I had so much fun with this Bee.
The other DT's also used Digital Delights images.  You need to see the wonderful cards they made with them.  The DT links are listed on my sidebar.

The other wonderful challenges this card fits are:

One Stitch at a Time - Digi's - YEAH!!  The Bee is a digi stamp.

Sketch Saturday - Sketch - I think this sketch was perfect for this image.

KL Stamping - Ribbon.  I love ribbon.  I really like polka dot ribbon which I used on this card.

The Townscrapper - Anything Goes - I love these themes!!!

Digi Doodleshop Best - Use those Scraps! - This is a new challenge for me and I love this theme.  I just cleaned out my scrap drawer so I am trying to use everything.  I used some BG pieces for the smaller rectangles on this card.

AI Factory - Flowers - I love putting flowers on my cards.  This card gave me a chance to use my Yellow and Black flowers which match the Flowers on my DP

CRAFT - Children - I think this would be a really cute card to send to a child.

Stamp Something - Digi - All you need to do is use a digi on your project.  My Bee is Digi

Stampavie & More - Anything Goes - Yeah - another challenge that I can do anything I want!

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you like my card.  Thank you to everyone who leaves me a comment.  I really enjoy reading all of them.

Welcome Fall, Copic Creations Challenge 11

Good Afternoon! It's a beautiful day here in the Northeast. While my sister and I were out today we noticed that some of the leaves on the trees have started to change colors. A true sign of Fall.

I made this card for the Copic Creations #11 challenge. The challenge was to use your favorite color combinations. I love blue and anything but I find myself always reaching for the softer colors with the darker accents. Since we are approaching Fall I thought I would use some of the less pastel pinks and blues with the maroon accents colors and papers.

The sponser for this weeks challenge is Mo's Digital Pencil. I don't own any so I wasn't able to use one with this challenge but I was looking through her store and she has some wonderful images.

I didn't own alot of copics last fall so I am looking forward to using different combinations this year.

Thank you for looking at my card. Let me know what you think.

Sent from Heaven, 3CTC26

Good afternoon! I hope everyone is having a good weekend. It is really hot here. I have had a pretty lazy weekend. I have gotten some coloring done on some images, finished my nephew's birthday card and made this card for Kerry's Thursday challenge.

I downloaded this from Digital Delights by Louby Loo. She has some really cute stamps. You should check her out. She has a free download on Friday's if you want to try her images. I thought this one was so cute. I couldn't wait to make a card with her. I colored her and put shimmerz on her wings and the clouds. I then made a 2nd pair of wings to pop up. She is sitting so I had to find something for her to sit on. That's when I decided to cut her out and have her sit inside of the circle. I still thought she needed something so I put her aside. When I went to my LSS yesterday they had the Polor White Flower soft that I want to use this winter on snow. I thought that it would also look good on the clouds so it came home with me.

I don't know what I will put as a saying. Everything I thought of was too long for this card. When I figure it out I will pull out my Just Rite letters and add.

Thank you for looking. I hope you like the card.
