Crafting when we Can #23 Monochrome

It's time for a new challenge at CWWC and this time we'd like to see your monochrome creations.  We're being sponsored by Fresh Brewed Design.

I've used a Fresh Brewed image which I think was a freebie. I've coloured with promarkers then cut the image out and mounted with silicon gel. Backing paper is a Tatty Ted one; doily was from a Sheenie Angel envelope; surf board and sandals are chipboard magazine freebies; sentiment, gems ribbon and button are from my stash. Card is finished with some stickles.

Challenges entered:

Crazy Amigos - free theme
Digi Makeover - dimension

Guest Design Spot at Bugaboo

Good morning all. Less than a week until my holibobs :)
We're very lucky at Crafting for all Seasons to have Bugaboo sponsoring us twice a month and we get the chance to be a Guest Designer for them. Today it's my turn and the challenge is Anything Goes.
I chose this cute image called FanSBbeach to work with.

Image is coloured with promarkers, die cut with a nestie circle and mounted onto a scalloped circle. Papers are from a sadly neglected Tatty Ted pack. Fancy edges are a Spellbinders Edgeability set. Ribbons and fibres are tied using my mini bowdabra. Card is finished with some gems, a sentiment and a starfish button from my stash.

Challenges entered:
Lexi's Creations - at the beach
Oldie but Goodie - summer holidays
Poodles Parlour - cute or cuddly creations
Stamp Man - bling it on
Crafty Bloggers - anything goes
The Ribbon Girl - girlie card
Crafty Sentiments - summer time
Shopping our Stash - triple threat (ribbon, die cuts, rhinestones)
Tuesday Throwdown - summer time

Tatty Ted

I'm busy making Mother's Day cards for my eldest to sell to raise funds for his Mongol Rally trip. I'm raiding the spare prints and stamped box along with the bit box so hopefully I may make a dent in both!
My first features a Tatty Ted image which has been lying around for months.

Paper is from Joanna Sheens Daisy and Friends CD and was in my bit box. Dies are all Spellbinders. Sentiment is computer generated. Ribbon, button and twine from my stash. As I only had one piece of the aqua card I've cut the oval from the middle of the square and the circle from the middle of the oval!

Challenges entered:
Crafty Calender - spring clean
Lothian Crafts - two main colours
Reddy Teddy Go - it's a wrap (Liz Earle products)
Unique Crafter's - anything goes
Divas by Design - spots and/or stripes

Tatty Ted

It has poured down most of today, managed to get out to buy stamps and post some cards between the downpours but that's about all! My wee man (aka 21 yr old son) left this evening to go on a road trip up to the north of Scotland with one of his friends - Loch Ness will need a new attraction after he's visited as he's enough to scare any monster away lol. Do hope the weather improves for them else they could be mighty soggy within a few days.
It's been ages since I made a frilly frooey card so I set to this evening  and this is the result:

I bought this Tatty Ted a wee while ago and this is the first time he's been inked, I've stamped him onto a Marianne Design die cut which I bought last week in Louth and inked around the edges with the blue ink used for his nose. Backing papers are also Tatty Ted and the blue strip is a Martha Stewart punch. Card is finished with lace, bows, buttons, ribbon rose buds and roses.

Cutie Sunday - lace punches
Ready Teddy Go - buttons and bows
