Hey everyone, kind of chilly and raining here in my neck of the woods. Well , feeling each day how important being Grateful and healthy is important received not so good news yesterday that let me very upset my uncle seems to be with cancer. It's sad because he was one of the few members of my extended family that I really felt that he cared. He was a friend of my dad. And my sister to help has being diagnosed with high blood pressure,and she 's only 27 , so thats the result of her bad eating habits. Very worried about her.
Anyway, on a lighter and happier note we have the Live show today !

Hybrid Mini Album 2 + Card

This is the Hybrid Mini Album we finished in the live show,
The papers I used where dejavu from Paperbagstudios, and stencils from cricut.
This week live show we are going to start a envelope mini album using junk mail envelopes and we are going to have a giveaway from Tombow that donated a couple of things for me to give.
Thursday at 9:00pm Eastern.
Also I did this card to participate in the Pixie Cottage Challenge that I heard on Risa's blog.
They have a sketch and I thought to try out such a long time I don't do challenges.

I'm excited that we bought tickets for our vacation in Florida on December, to spend Xmas with friends, I miss my friends from Florida. (hi Natalie :) )

I did some cards but I'm not uploading from my camera as fast because my project 365 I wait to a good number of pics to upload to the computer. So here you go finally a card.

Before yesterday I was really shocked and sad with some news I found out , in Coordinating Collections blog, (this is my monthly kit). On this topic .
I participate constantly in the forum, this lady was well known of us, she was one time DT guest designer and she was always so sweet in her comments to our creations and a very active scrapper.
This stroke me how Scrapbooking has such a value, because going in her gallery or just looking at the post there with some of her creations I could see she talked through the pages of her layouts about herself, her life, her children....I thought wow ! what a precious thing her family now will have, her legacy and her sentiments kept safe in her layouts. We are such a small part of this life, life is such a breath of air....and we have everyday to be Grateful, Enjoy each day, and leave our mark ....So I begin to think everyday how can I enjoy more each day and leave my mark and legacy to my child....?

Well as part of the plan for that, Friday was my last day of work. Now I can rest more, and prepare for the big moment of my life and prepare things to Lucas. Enjoy my house, my moment , my family, my days. Altough it will be strange after so many years working, I do not feel any regret, I'm just so excited and anxious for the labor of love that is coming to our house.

Xmas card..finally !

Finally, this past weekend I was able to make some cards, this year just for some friends that really appreciates .To family and more close friends, I used shutterfly to do it. I like because has some pictures of us this past year as a review.
About the card: I think this image Jen gave me when she was still my upline with TAC.
I just recorded a video, so probably this week I will be able to edit that.
Many, many projects on my mind, but so little time and the big belly not helping :)
But soon I will leave work, so things will get better.Paper : TAC

One that I will definitely do is a Gratitude Journal, I was watching this videos on Oprah soul Series. She was talking with Sarah Ban author of this book :

I bought used on Amazon as you can see $0.01 you can't beat that....
Anyway, she talks about the concept of writting 5 things you are grateful everyday, and I really want to push myself to write more things down, and this is very important, because when you aknowlegde your gratitudes you see life different. She says something really interesting in this video, that we should write our daily gratitudes ' because it makes it real" and she explains that.
I receive this series in podcast so if you have itunes you can subscribe, but on that link I provided you can see all of them, its really powerful stuff.
I don't watch much tv, so I believe , I have to feed my soul with more meaninful things, and maybe try to be a better soul, person, partner, ..... this learning changed many things bad I was feeling some years ago, I really changed and hope to change more each day.

First Xmas card

Well, I've decided I won't do all my Xmas cards, it was too tiring and not worth last year, and on December I will be too busy preparing for baby's arrival. Not everyone appreciate so I will do a few.
I have so much things on my mind before I begin to prepare things for the baby that cards are not priority right now. To me now is all about documenting as many things of my life as possible before baby comes. So, cards have to be easy and fast !

Owl Hello !

I've been with back pain this days so, it was really hard to do something. Also, this week I will do a video tutorial I began to record than the battery of my camera died, so I will have to wait till tomorrow.
Mean while, this is a new stamp from TAC from Fall supl. , I think I look like someone that is collecting butterfly, birds, flowers and owl stamps :)
I've colored just with prisma pencils and no blending, kind of worked well.

Wrap around card

This is for Jen's challenge, interesting to make a card stamp all over. I decided to make a a kind of quote, cheerful card.
Stamps used : Inque boutique, Flourishes, Sentiments: TAC
Die cuts: cuttlebug 2 step die, and cricut home accent cartridge.

Well, I'm upset, snoopy is sick, and it was my fault, well in that event I think I gave him a sample food from Purina that gave him allergies. He cant eat this grocery store brands, but I was stupid and gave him.
So, now he cant stop scratching, linking , his mouth is all red and around his eyes purple, and his belly, poor him, I feel so sorry. And the vet can just see him Thursday. I tell you, I hate to see him this way. He is not sleeping well because he cant stop linking himself, his paws are all red too. :(

I scanned this card, because I was scanning a layout and was lazy to take the pictures, I dont know I don't like the cards on scanner. But Anyway, I finally got my new cuttlebug folder from Oh crafts, I tell you I'm happy that Jen got this folders in her store, because I'm not buying anymore with this store, they take 2 months to ship things, I hate this kind of service, because they took my money 2 months back. Anyway !

Sorry, I forgot to turn off the date on my camera, I did something I usually don't do. This image was stamped with versamark on glossy paper, then I brayered ink. I say I dont do this because I don't like to spend a lot of time in cards, just not my thing, I like easy and fast.

Back with creations !

I did this shadow box also to take to my friend's daughter, we receive this containers from TAC , they are the packaging , I feel so bad to put them away sometimes. i put some crystals inside to give it a shake. We carry now this MM flowers jars, they are really pretty, you can check it out here.

I want to dedicate this award to my friend Jen alone, because is with sadness that is leaving TAC group to be concentrated in her online business. I was her first recruit with TAC, and can remember till this day our excitement , I had no idea about stamping and she helped me a lot to find my way !
As her downline she would always send us kit and with her last one I did these 2 cards, a way to not let us feel down , for not being in Hawaii for her angel classes. Jen ,You 're a star ! Thank you so much for your patience and help.

Well , I decided to make some changes to my Main Home Page, and the blog I was using from
iWeb for my Mixed Media projects I have decided to delete, and Make another one with blogger, I really dont have time to try to figure out another system, its pretty raw right now, but I will do a banner and other things, but I have 2 projects I did so if you can check it out i would appreciate.Here
I'm in the process to finish another mini album because I will travel this weekend and this will be a gift, so be in the lookout. Meanwhile, I just got this cuttlebug folder , its so pretty.
